It has an adjustable thermostat control with 2 heat settings (low and high) and fan only mode. The heater is also equipped with an internal tip-over safety switch (rattling when moving heater is normal!). If the heater tips over, power is cut off automatically. This heater also has thermal cut off protection that shuts the heater off if it overheats. Intended for use on the floor or elevated location. Never plug heater into an extension cord or power strip.
